【Abstract】 The historical initiative is a spiritual quality continuously generated by the Communist Party of China in the process of consciously and actively understanding and creating history. It contains the Communist Party of China’s firm historical self-confidence,strong historical responsibility, lofty historical mission, broad historical vision and profound historical wisdom. As a landmark political document, the report of the 20^thNational Congress of the CPC summarizes the great achievements of the new era and shows the historical self-confidence of the CPC. It puts forward the requirements of“two combinations”and shows the historical responsibility of the CPC. It clarifies the Party’s“central task”and reaffirms the historical mission of the CPC.
