【Abstract】 This study investigated the effect of biofeedback in virtual reality(VR) on psychological craving in methamphetamine-dependent young women. A total of 60 female methamphetamine-dependent participants were recruited and randomly divided into intervention group(n=30) and control group(n=30). The intervention group received treatment with a VR-based drug addiction assessment and recovery system, while the control group didn’t receive such intervention. The results showed physiological indicators in both groups were elevated in the presence of drug cues compared to a relaxed state. Furthermore, there was a notable reduction in the psychological fluctuation index during the intervention phase. Lastly, after intervention, the drug addiction assessment score of the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group. These results suggest that biofeedback therapy in VR can reduce psychological craving in methamphetamine-dependent young women, providing a new therapeutic approach for this population.更多还原
