粤东玉水铜矿凝灰岩岩石学和年代学特征及区域找矿意义
Petrology and Age of Tuff in Yushui Copper Deposit of East Guangdong and Its Regional Ore Prospecting Significance
【摘要】 广东梅州玉水铜矿床矿体底板石炭系砂岩中的凝灰岩夹层与成矿关系密切,探讨其成因对于理解区域同类矿床成因及找矿勘探具有重要意义。该凝灰岩主要由绢云母组成,次要矿物为石英和长石,携带少量碎屑颗粒,沿层理发育层状黄铜矿。本文在井下调查和编录的基础上,运用LA-ICP-MS对凝灰岩中的锆石进行了U-Pb定年,获得的年龄主要集中在~440 Ma、800-1 200 Ma、>1 600 Ma。综合研究表明,与凝灰岩同期的物源可能来源于盆地的北东方向,其锆石年龄表明研究区深部存在前寒武纪的基底物质。永梅拗陷区发育火山作用,该期火山活动与成矿作用密切相关,可以为区域相关层状矿床的找矿提供有效的线索,并可推广至华南大部分拗陷带。
【Abstract】 The tuff interlayers within the Carboniferous sandstone of the floor of the Yushui Copper Deposit in Meizhou, Guangdong, are closely associated with mineralization. Investigating their genesis is of significant importance for understanding the origins of similar regional deposits and guiding ore exploration.The tuff is primarily composed of sericite, with quartz and feldspar as secondary minerals, and contains a small amount of detrital particles. Stratiform chalcopyrite is developed along the layering. Based on underground surveys and documentation, this study employed LA-ICP-MS to conduct U-Pb dating of zircons from the tuff. The obtained ages are mainly concentrated around ~440?Ma, 800–1 200?Ma, and >1 600?Ma.Comprehensive research indicates that the source materials contemporaneous with the tuff likely originated from the northeastern direction of the basin. The zircon ages suggest the presence of Precambrian basement material in the deep part of the study area. Volcanism is developed in the Yongmei Depression area, and this phase of volcanic activity is closely related to mineralization. It can provide effective clues for prospecting regional layered deposits and can be extended to most depression zones in South China.
