【Abstract】 Ferroptosis, a new modality of regulated cell death, is essentially an imbalance in iron metabolism as well as accumulation of lipid peroxides. The idea that irisin ameliorates related diseases by inhibiting ferroptosis has been demonstrated. The relevant mechanisms of ferroptosis are outlined and the current research status mainly on irisin ameliorating related diseases by inhibiting ferroptosis is reviewed, which will provide new therapeutic ideas for related diseases involved in ferroptosis.更多还原
