【Abstract】 The language structure contains a profound cognitive picture,the same is true for the metaphorical pattern in the English grammar system.When examining the grammatical structure of English from a cognitive perspective,people can reveal the deep-thinking trajectory behind it.The metaphorical expressions involving space,time and emotion construct a unique cognitive schema by interweaving a network in the English grammatical structure.These metaphorical patterns not only reflect the thinking characteristics of native English speakers,but also form a sharp contrast with the cognitive patterns of speakers of other languages in a cross-cultural context.The cognitive metaphor patterns in English grammar structures and their mapping relationships in cross-cultural communication can reveal the intrinsic connection between language and thinking,providing a brand-new cognitive dimension for language teaching and cross-cultural communication.更多还原
