交联型两性聚丙烯酰胺的制备及其助留助滤性能测定
Preparation of Cross-Linked Amphoteric Polyacrylamide and Determination of Its Retention and Filtration Aid Performance
【摘要】 以丙烯酰胺(AM)、丙烯酸(AA)和甲基丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(DMC)分别为基体,阴离子和阳离子单体,N’N-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺(MBA)为交联剂,采用水溶液聚合,氧化还原引发体系制备了自交联两性型聚丙烯酰胺样品(M-AmPAM)。采用黏度计和BTG高效动态滤水分析仪(DFR-05)对M-AmPAM的物化性质和性能进行表征和测试,并与市售助留剂产品Mx-8501进行对比,研究了M-AmPAM和Mx-8501对二次纤维造纸的助留助滤效果和成纸物理性能的影响。结果表明,结合效果和成本考量,M-AmPAM用量为0.06%时,综合助留和助滤效果性能最佳,对比原浆样分别提高了25.1%和25.7%;抗张强度和耐破强度指数分别为34.5 N·m/g和2.24 kPa·m~2/g,对比原纸分别提高了7.1%和10.9%,且均略优于市售样品Mx-8501。
【Abstract】 Using acrylamide(AM), acrylic acid(AA), and dimethylammonium methacryloxyethyl chloride(DMC) as the matrix, anionic, and cationic monomers respectively, and N,N’-methylenebisacrylamide(MBA) as the crosslinking agent, aqueous solution polymerization was employed to prepare self-crosslinked amphoteric polyacrylamide samples(M-AmPAM) in a redox-initiated system. using an oxidation-reduction initiation system to prepare self-crosslinked zwitterionic polyacrylamide samples(M-AmPAM). The physicochemical properties and performance of M-AmPAM were characterized and tested using a viscometer and a BTG highefficiency dynamic drainage analyzer(DFR-05). Comparisons were made with the commercial retention aid Mx-8501 to investigate the effects of M-AmPAM and Mx-8501 on retention and drainage in secondary fiber papermaking, as well as on the physical properties of the resulting paper. Results indicate that considering both effectiveness and cost, M-AmPAM exhibits optimal retention and drainage performance at a dosage of 0.06%, improving retention and drainage by 25.1% and 25.7% respectively compared to the virgin pulp sample. Tensile strength and burst strength index reached 34.5 N·m/g and 2.24 kPa·m~2/g, respectively, representing 7.1% and 10.9% improvements over the base paper, and both slightly outperformed the commercial sample Mx-8501.
