Application research on health education prescription for empowering authorization combined with drug literacy in patients with myocardial infarction
【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effect of health education programs constructed by empowering authorization combined with drug literacy on drug literacy, medication compliance, and self-management in patients with first-time myocardial infarction(MI). Methods A total of 70 patients admitted to the hospital for the first MI in the department of cardiology of a tertiary hospital in Nanchang from June to December 2023 was selected as the research subjects by convenient sampling method, and were divided into the control group(35 cases) and the observation group(35 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group adopted routine health education, and the observation group implemented the health education model constructed by empowering authorization combined with drug literacy, and the drug literacy, medication compliance and self-management of patients between 2 groups before and after intervention were evaluated and compared. Results After the intervention, the scores of drug literacy and medication compliance in the observation group were(5.29±0.93) points and(6.51±0.82) points, respectively, which were better than those in the control group [(4.69±0.96) points and(5.91±1.10) points], and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The total self-management score of the patients in the observation group was(95.63± 7.15) points, and was obviously higher than that in the control group(88.79±6.00) points, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The health education program constructed by empowering authorization combined with drug literacy can help improve the safe medication use of patients with first-time MI, and improve the level of self-management.
