果用型番木瓜“红日3号”的选育

【摘要】 根据市场需求,利用番木瓜种质资源圃的种质资源,以“红日2号”番木瓜为母本、夏威夷番木瓜后代优株18#为父本,通过人工杂交方式选育杂交一代非转基因果用型新品种,定名为“红日3号”番木瓜。该品种生长旺盛,丰产稳产,节位着果率97.5%,平均单株商品果为29.2个,平均单果质量783.6 g。商品果呈椭圆形,果实纵径15.6 cm,横径10.1 cm,果皮光滑,果肉红色,果肉厚2.4 cm,柔嫩多汁无渣,可溶性固形物含量为14.5%,品质优良。适宜在我国番木瓜产区种植,适应性较强,较耐环斑花叶病毒病,建议轮作或新园种植。

【Abstract】 Based on market demand, utilizing germplasm resources from the Carica papaya germplasm repository, a new non-GMO F1 hybrid fruit-type variety Hongri No. 3 was bred through artificial hybridization, with Hongri No. 2 papaya as female parent, and elite line 18# derived from Hawaiian papaya as the male parent. The variety exhibited vigorous growth, high and stable yield, with a node fruit-setting rate of 97.5%. On average, each plant produced 29.2 marketable fruits, with a single fruit weight of 783.6 g. The marketable fruits are oval-shaped, with a longitudinal diameter of 15.6 cm and a transverse diameter of 10.1 cm. The fruit skin is smooth, and the flesh is red, with a thickness of 2.4 cm. The flesh is tender, juicy, and fiber-free, with a soluble solids content of 14.5%,demonstrating excellent quality. It is suitable for cultivation in the papaya producing areas in China with strong adaptability and strong resistance to papaya ring-spot virus. It is suggested to plant for rotation planting or new orchards.
