【Abstract】 Zamyatin conveys rich metaphorical meanings to the body in We. He negates the multiple oppression of rationalism on the body, affirms the sensuous aspect of the body and explores the path of bodily liberation through the portrayal of physical features, lust, rebellious spirit, and bodily transformations. His individualistic, free, and dynamic view of the body not only reflects a high resonance with Nietzsche’s Body philosophy, which emphasizes the exaltation of life vitality, but also represents his active attempt to resist rationalism. Therefore, this article attempts to interpret the views on the body in We through Nietzsche’s philosophy, aiming to provide new perspectives for reading this classic work and to offer warnings and inspiration regarding the body dilemma faced by humanity today, trapped in instrumental rationality and consumerism.更多还原
