【摘要】 文章从大历史观的视角，探讨江西的历史分期与行政区划的演进历程，展现江西深厚的历史底蕴与悠久的发展脉落，主要分为四个部分：一、从万年、千年、百年三个时间尺度剖析了江西历史，特别讨论了江西何时被文明的曙光照亮，江西何时步入辉煌时期，以及近现代江西的跌宕起伏与复兴征程。二、依据古樟树地区的考古遗址，论述了4500年前江西的早期文明。三、考察江西这块土地上省级地方政权的起源。从春秋时期的“番邑”“艾邑”，到秦始皇时期设立“番”“艾”两县并纳入中央政权统一管理，直至汉初“豫章郡”的设置，江西地面上出现最早的省级政权，反映了江西行政区划的初步形成。四、梳理江西的省级区划名称从“豫章郡”到“江西省”的演变历程。从秦始皇时期江西隶属“九江郡”，到汉初的“豫章郡”，再到后来的“江州”“洪州”变为“江南西道”“江西行省”“江西布政使司”，最终确定为“江西省”，其地域范围长期稳定。总之，江西历史悠久，文化灿烂，始终在中华文明的整体发展中扮演重要角色，其行政区划的演变也成为中国历史发展进程中的一个生动缩影。更多还原

【Abstract】 This article explores the historical periodization and the evolution of administrative divisions in Jiangxi Province from the perspective of macro-history, showcasing the profound historical heritage and the long developmental trajectory of the region. It is mainly divided into four parts: First, it analyzes the history of Jiangxi across three temporal scales: ten thousand years, a thousand years, and a hundred years. It particularly discusses when Jiangxi was illuminated by the dawn of civilization, when it entered its period of glory, and the fluctuations and revival journey of Jiangxi in modern and contemporary times. Second, based on archaeological sites in the ancient camphor tree region, it discusses the early civilization of Jiangxi around 4500 years ago. Third, it examines the origins of provincial-level local governance structures on the land of Jiangxi. From the “Fan Yi” and “Ai Yi” during the Spring and Autumn period, to “Fan” and “Ai” counties under the centralized power during the reign of the First Emperor of Qin, and finally to the “Yuzhang Commandery”(“Yuzhang Jun”) in the early Han Dynasty, the earliest provincial-level governance structures appeared in Jiangxi,revealing the initial formation of its administrative divisions. Fourth, it outlines the evolution of the names of Jiangxi’s provincial-level administrative divisions from “Yuzhang Commandery” to “Jiangxi Province”. Jiangxi was part of “Jiujiang Commandery”(“Jiujiang Jun”) during the reign of the First Emperor of Qin. It evolved from “Yuzhang Commandery” in the early Han Dynasty to “Jiangzhou” and “Hongzhou”, then to “Jiangnan West Circuit”(“Jiangnan Xidao”), “Jiangxi Administrative Province” and “Jiangxi Administrative Commission”(“Jiangxi Buzheng Shisi”), and finally to “Jiangxi Province”. Its geographical scope remained stable over a long period. In summary, Jiangxi has a long history and a splendid culture, always playing a significant role in the overall development of Chinese civilization.
