【Abstract】 In the context of the booming development of prefabricated residential buildings, there has always been a contradiction between standardization and diversity. By investigating residents’ satisfaction with prefabricated residential buildings, clarify the direction of component diversity design. On the basis of standardization and generalization, using the design methods of module coordination and module combination, combined with BIM to create a component module library, and combining it with actual projects, a diversity design strategy for integrated assembly and decoration residential buildings is proposed to enhance the connection between the component industry and residential construction.
