基于降尺度夜间灯光数据的北京市时空格局研究

【摘要】 针对超大城市区县级区域缺乏长时序高分辨率夜间灯光监测数据的问题,该文探索了一种结合多源数据与低分辨率Suomi-NPP/VIIRS夜间灯光数据的四种产品,从中拟合出高分辨率的VIIRS-DM数据的方法。以北京市为研究区域,计算了标准差椭圆以分析城市格局的变化,并运用城市位序-规模法则和泰尔指数来评估均衡性。研究结果显示,VIIRS-DM在多个评价指标上均优于Suomi-NPP/VIIRS,能够更准确地反映北京各区夜间灯光的分布和强度。在2018—2023年间,北京市首都功能核心区和城市功能拓展区的重心保持稳定,扩张不明显,而城市发展新区和生态涵养发展区的重心则有较大移动,呈现出向外扩张的趋势;城市夜光规模分布在前期趋于分散,后期则呈现出集中趋势,但整体格局变化并不显著。本方法可为长时序区域高分辨率夜间灯光监测研究提供新的思路,研究成果可为区域经济社会可持续发展和城镇化建设提供技术支持。

【Abstract】 This study addresses the deficiency of long-term, high-resolution nighttime light monitoring data in extensive urban areas and counties by proposing a methodology that integrates multi-source data with low-resolution Suomi-NPP/VIIRS nighttime light data to enhance the resolution of VIIRS-DM data. Focusing on Beijing as the case study, the research employs the standard deviation ellipse to examine alterations in urban patterns and utilizes the urban rank-size rule and Theil index to evaluate spatial balance. The findings indicate that VIIRS-DM data surpasses Suomi-NPP/VIIRS in various evaluation metrics, offering a more precise representation of the distribution and intensity of nighttime illumination across different districts in Beijing. Between 2018 and 2023,the center of gravity for both the core functional area and the urban functional expansion area of Beijing exhibited stability without significant expansion, whereas the center of gravity for the new urban development area and the ecological conservation development area demonstrated notable movement, suggesting a trend of outward expansion. The distribution of urban nighttime light intensity transitioned from a dispersed pattern in the initial phase to a more concentrated configuration in the subsequent phase, although the overall change in pattern was minimal. The methodology proposed herein, which employs multi-source data fusion for downscaling, provides valuable insights for long-term regional high-resolution nighttime light monitoring research. The results of this study may serve as a technical foundation for promoting sustainable regional economic and social development, as well as urbanization initiatives.
