【Abstract】 The brain computer interface technology has realized the imagination of“controlling external objects with humans own thoughts”. This is a significant change in human-computer interaction technology,which has attracted much attention from the academic community. Slavoj Zizek believes that brain computer interface technology represents a“singularity”of the“gnosis turn”, which erases the“core of being human”of the subject and poses a grave threat of“subject disappearance”. Zizek has conducted serious philosophical reflection on the fundamental theme of the significant challenges posed by brain computer interface technology to the fate of human subject, highlighting the potential for brain computer interface technology to cause a deep hollowing out of the subject, even leading to its complete reduction to“form without content”, and revealing its potentially negative effects on human subjectivity. Zizek’s philosophical reflection on brain computer interface technology serves as a reminder that, in developing brain computer interface technology, we must pay attention to the challenges it poses to human subjectivity and be wary of the risk of“subject disappearance”that may arise as a result.更多还原
