【Abstract】 Traditional Chinese medicine knowledge, as a representative of excellent traditional culture, has important practical and economic value. As traditional Chinese medicine culture gradually spreads overseas, more and more countries are discovering the economic benefits that traditional Chinese medicine knowledge can bring. For many years, due to the inadequate protection of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge under the current intellectual property law system, it has been subjected to improper possession and use by certain countries, resulting in frequent occurrences of“biopiracy”incidents. Currently, the country attaches great importance to the protection of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge and has provided policy support in organizational and institutional construction, making traditional Chinese medicine knowledge protection work at the forefront of world traditional knowledge protection.
