【Abstract】 Internships for business majors have proven instrumental in enhancing students’ professional competencies, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, and facilitating a smoother transition into the workplace. However, persistent challenges remain in areas such as internship placement, student role definition, process management and evaluation, and the motivation of internship supervisors. This paper investigates these issues, identifying the underlying causes and proposing targeted strategies for optimizing internship management. The aim is to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of internship programs for business majors in vocational colleges.Internships in business-related disciplines have played a crucial role in enhancing students’ professional competencies, improving practical skills, fostering school-enterprise collaboration, and elevating the overall quality of talent cultivation. However, significant challenges remain in areas such as role definition, internship arrangements, incentive policies, and supervision and evaluation mechanisms. It is recommended to enrich the content of internship tasks, intensify resource development efforts, and optimize process management strategies to effectively improve the quality and efficiency of internships in business programs within vocational education.更多还原
