【Abstract】 Western scholars noted that the concepts of class and revolution has been altered, that the society was characterized by the unnamed revolutionary entity, and that the ideology and passion of revolution have lost its popularity in a post-revolution era. Meanwhile, the resurgence of returning to Marxism in academia was presented, amid which, McLaren established the framework of revolutionary critical pedagogy by using the concepts of class and revolution, which tries to find an alternative for capitalist societies. This kind of critical pedagogy is not to incite people to revolute again, but to achieve a change of consciousness, and its criticism and impact on capitalism are limited.Hence, the revolutionary critical pedagogy posted by McLaren fails to reform a post-revolutionary era.更多还原
