【Abstract】 Guy Debord(1931—1994) is a French left-wing thinker, who published his famous book entitled The Society of the Spectacle in 1967. At the completion stage of the commodity society, his theory of the society of the spectacle not only conforms to the analysis on social form by Karl Marx, but also provides a new perspective for the study on society. In the construction of the theory, Debord attempted to use the dual dimensions of time and space as a starting point, and employed psychogeographic criticism and aesthetic politics as strategies to achieve a “dual breakthrough” between Western Marxism and post Marxism. That is a struggle for the perfect unity of theory and practice, integrating individual resistance and situational utopia, providing reference for the breakthrough in the global society of the modern spectacles.更多还原
