【Abstract】 The mass line is rich in governance and consultation,it is an important local resource for the modernization of ecological governance. It is necessary to realize the transformation of the mass line from the traditional political field to the ecological civilization field for mass line’s participation in the theoretical construction and practice of ecological consultative governance with Chinese characteristics. It is necessary to improve its ecological social governance function on the premise of realizing the ecological mass line. The ecological logic construction of the mass line is embodied in enriching and expanding the ecological connotation of the discourse of the mass line. The mass line discourse expansion can fully explain the core values, participants and basic driving forces of the ecological consultative democracy theory with Chinese characteristics. The ecological path construction of the mass line is reflected in improving the function of the mass line, promoting the practice of consultative governance in contemporary China, and realizing the ecological transformation of the mass line.
