【Abstract】 This paper explores the application of the Outcome-Based Education(OBE) philosophy and blended teaching methods in the course "Cattle Production Science." The instructional content encompasses various aspects such as the physiology, genetics, and husbandry of cattle. Diverse teaching approaches, including case studies on feed formulations of dairy cows in perinatal period and different lactation period and laboratory practices using formulation software, are employed. The assessment methods comprehensively consider students’ theoretical learning and practical performance. The implementation results indicate that this teaching model significantly enhances students’ interest, comprehension, and critical thinking, highlighting the effectiveness and importance of blended teaching in agricultural higher education. In the "Cattle Production Science" course, this mixed teaching mode aids students in gaining a deeper understanding of professional knowledge and strengthens their practical application skills.更多还原
