【Abstract】 Forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation is a major task in comprehensively building China into a great modern socialist country. The Yellow River culture, as a cultural symbol shared by the Chinese nation, embodies the long history shared by all ethnic groups, witnesses the cultural exchanges among ethnic groups, shapes their collective memory, and guides their way of life. The unique value of “commonality” inherent in it is highly compatible with the forging of a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, and has profound significance in building a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation.
