基于DSP+FPGA协处理器指纹识别系统的设计与实现
Design and Implementation of a Fingerprint Identification System Based on DSP+FPGA Coprocessor
【摘要】 实现了一种基于DSP+FPGA协处理器的指纹识别系统硬件平台设计。采用FPGA作为协处理器,分担数据计算及扩展接口以系统结构优化算法,实现一个高效的指纹识别系统。采用Altera公司的Cyclone Ⅳ EP4CE75FPGA实现指纹识别算法中滤波等计算量大的处理模块,用ADI公司的ADSP-BF70x处理器以软件的方式实现计算方式与控制结构比较复杂的处理模块,以此达到提升指纹识别算法处理速度的目的,满足某些场合对DSP实时性的要求。
【Abstract】 This paper realized a hardware platform design of fingerprint identification system based on DSP+FPGA coprocessor. Using FPGA as coprocessor to share data calculation and expansion interfaces,a high-effect fingerprint identification system will be realized,according to the improved algorithm of system. In this paper, the operand complex filter module in the fingerprint recognition algorithm has been implemented by Cyclone Ⅳ EP4CE75 of Altera corp., the quite complex control structure module in fingerprint recognition algorithm has been implemented by the software way based on the ADSP-BF70x DSP processor of Analog Devices Inc.. To improve the speed of Fingerprint Recognition Algorithm meets the requisition of digital signal processing’s real time in some situation.
