【Abstract】 Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism and an important feature of Chinese-style modernization. The CPC’s promotion of common prosperity has a solid theoretical foundation and deep-rooted cultural genes: the Marxist thought of common prosperity is its theoretical origin, and the traditional Chinese culture of “Grand Harmony” and the “people-centered” approach to development are its profound cultural heritage. For more than 100 years, the Communist Party of China has united and led the Chinese people in advancing toward the goal of common prosperity.
