【Abstract】 In the context of globalization today, it is particularly important to protect and inherit local intangible cultural heritage.As a shining pearl in the treasure trove of Chinese national culture, the intangible cultural heritage of southeastern Guangxi not only has profound educational significance when integrated into ideological and political education in universities, but also serves as a powerful driving force for cultural inheritance. This article analyzes the important role of intangible cultural heritage in ideological and political education in universities, including enhancing college students’ understanding of intangible cultural heritage, consolidating their cultural confidence, and promoting multi-level progress in ideological and political teaching.
