【Abstract】 The information revolution is not unique to the twenty-first century;the nineteenth century also saw a range of innovations in communication technology.Communication technologies and networks such as Penny Post,postal code,telegraph and telephone emerged and expanded rapidly during the Victorian period,shaping the“structure of feeling”of the networked society.By emphasizing the networking mediation function of communication technologies and the interaction between communication technologies and literary representations，“the Mobilities Turn”provides us with a new perspective for analyzing Victorian literature.On the one hand,the communication technologies and communication networks in the nineteenth century provided Victorian novels with network imagery,networked narrative structure and network logic;on the other hand,Victorian writers explored the multiple implications of communication networks and contributed to the cognitive mapping of an era undergoing communication revolution.更多还原
