【Abstract】 Septic shock is a critical disease with acute cardiovascular decompensation and hemodynamic disturbance caused by severe infection. Because cardiovascular function depends on the dynamic interaction between the heart and the circulation, optimizing the matching relationship between the heart and blood vessels helps to improve cardiovascular function in patients with septic shock. Ventricular-arterial coupling refers to the mutually matching relationship between cardiac function and peripheral vascular function, and the evaluation of ventricular-arterial coupling facilitates the early detection of potentially dangerous patients. In this review, we discuss the concept of septic shock, the mechanisms of ventricular-arterial coupling, the factors associated with ventricular-arterial coupling in patients with septic shock, and the assessment tools.更多还原
