基于波动热源的PCM-TEG装置试验研究
Experimental study on PCM-TEG device based on fluctuating heat source
【摘要】 汽车排气温度具有瞬变性,利用温差发电器(thermoelectric generator, TEG)对排气余热进行回收时易出现输出电压波动和性能下降等现象,制约了其在排气余热回收等方面的应用。针对TEG与温度的“匹配”问题,设计开发了一种PCM-TEG装置,通过填充相变材料(phase change material, PCM)和改变单元内部翅片数量,研究了有无PCM及PCM封装容器内部翅片数量对TEG模块热端温度波动和输出稳定性的影响。结果表明:PCM可有效缓解TEG模块热端温度波动;翅片数量对TEG模块热端温度与输出性能的影响较大,但都能起到稳定作用;翅片数量存在一个最佳值,可使TEG模块热端温度及输出电压和功率波动处于较低水平,理想状态下输出电压和功率分别可达1.32~1.34 V和0.35~0.36 W。
【Abstract】 The automobile exhaust temperature is transient, and the output voltage fluctuation and performance decline are easy to occur when using the TEG to recover the exhaust waste heat, which restricts its application in the exhaust waste heat recovery. A PCM-TEG device was designed to solve the problem of "matching" between TEG and temperature. By filling the PCM and changing the number of fins in the unit, the temperature fluctuation at the hot side and the stability of the output performance of the TEG module were experimentally studied. The results show that PCM can effectively alleviate the temperature fluctuation of the hot side of the TEG module. There is an optimal value for the number of fins, which can keep the hot side temperature, the output voltage and the power fluctuation of TEG module at a low level, and the output voltage and power can reach 1.32-1.34 V and 0.35-0.36 W respectively at ideal condition.
