【Abstract】 The Book of Songs is known as the "encyclopedia of ancient China",and many foreign writers and translators regard the Book of Songs as an important basis for studying Chinese literature and exploring Chinese culture. The translation of the Book of Songs in Russia began in the 19th century,with a large number of scholars participating in the translation of different versions,and opinions on the style,emphasis and strategy of the translation of the Book of Songs are quite different. The translation of the Book of Songs by the Russian academic community has promoted cultural exchanges between China and Russia,enriched the field of Russian literary translation and literary research,enhanced Russian readers’ understanding of the essence and charm of Chinese culture,helped enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples,and laid a solid foundation for the development of China-Russia relations.
