【Abstract】 To build Chinese modern civilization is the cultural mission of the CPC in the new era,since it proposes to realize the new transformation from “building Chinese new culture” to “building Chinese modern civilization”,and promote the new leap of the Chinese civilization from traditional form to modern form.As a major theoretical proposition,the construction of Chinese modern civilization pursues the creation of a new organic and unified cultural subjectivity,responds effectively to the era’s issue of the “Debate between Ancient and Modern China and the West”,innovates and develops along the path of “Two Combinations”,and improves the institutional mechanism of the Party’s cultural leadership.Therefore,we should,with a thorough understanding of different things’ essence and practical value and their mutual relationship,adhere to the principle of taking use of the essence and discarding the dross,and learning from all the outstanding achievements of human society,in a bid to tell China’s stories well,and to create new cultural glory in the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations.更多还原
