合成2,2,4-三甲基-1,3-戊二醇单异丁酸酯连续流工艺开发
Study on Continuous Flow Process for the Synthesis of 2,2,4-Trimethyl-1,3-Pentanediol Monoisobutyrate in a Microchannel Reactor
【摘要】 为避免传统的釜式间歇生产工艺存在的反应周期长、产量受限等缺点,研究采用微通道连续流工艺增强2,2,4-三甲基-1,3-戊二醇单异丁酸酯的反应效果,以异丁醛为原料,氢氧化钠、碳酸钠混合碱溶液为催化剂,考察了催化剂浓度、用量、反应温度以及停留时间对合成2,2,4-三甲基-1,3-戊二醇单异丁酸酯反应的影响。结果表明,氢氧化钠浓度为40%,碳酸钠浓度为14%,V(异丁醛)∶V(NaOH/Na2CO3)=1∶1,停留时间30 min,反应温度35℃时,异丁醛转化率为71.59%,2,2,4-三甲基-1,3-戊二醇单异丁酸酯选择性为87.96%,收率为62.97%。
【Abstract】 Compared with the traditional kettle batch production process,the reaction period is long,the yield is limited and other shortcomings,but the advent of the microchannel continuous flow process has significantly upped the ante. This innovative technique has transformed the way this compound is synthesized,boosting its reaction efficiency to remarkable new heights. To achieve this,the microchannel continuous flow processemploys isobutyral as a raw material and taps into the catalytic power of sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate. This new patternapproach allows researchers to investigate various factors that can influence the synthesis of 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol monoisobutyrate,including catalyst concentration,dosage,reaction temperature,and residence time. The results of these investigations are nothing short of groundbreaking. Under optimal conditions,which include a 40% concentration of sodium hydroxide,a 14%concentration of sodium carbonate,and a 1:1 ratio of isobutyral to NaOH/Na2CO3,the conversion of isobutyral reaches an impressive rate of 71.59%. This is accompanied by an equally impressive selectivity of 87.96% towards the production of 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol monoisobutyrate,resulting in a yield of approximately 62.97%.
