在整本书阅读中运用思维导图和过程评价提升高阶思维能力的实证分析
An Empirical Analysis of Mind Mapping and Process Evaluation Post Whole Book Reading on the Development of Higher-Order Thinking Skills
【摘要】 高阶思维能力的发展对于提升学生的学习效率和成绩具有重要价值,但在现实中这种高阶思维能力并未得到足够重视,也缺乏提升高阶思维能力的有效方法。结合一项为期14天的整本书阅读实验项目,探讨思维导图和过程评价在提升学生高阶思维能力方面的效果。结果显示:基于过程评价的思维导图训练能有效促进学生发散性思维、综合性思维、批判性思维、创造性思维以及元认知能力等高阶思维能力的提升,但不同学生高阶思维能力提升的幅度和速度有所不同,体现出学生高阶思维能力发展的非均质化和非线性化特点。
【Abstract】 The cultivation of higher-order thinking skills is essential for enhancing students’ learning efficiency and academic performance. Despite this,there is a notable deficiency in both the recognition of its importance and the availability of effective strategies for its enhancement. Therefore,a 14-day whole book reading(WBR)program integrating mind mapping and process evaluation was implemented to explore effective ways of fostering the development of students’ higher-order thinking skills. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ higher-order thinking skills,encompassing divergent thinking,integrative thinking,critical thinking,creative thinking,and metacognitive skills,as a result of the mind mapping practice and process evaluation within the WBR program. It is important to acknowledge,however,that the degree of advancement varies among individuals,highlighting the heterogeneity and nonlinear progression inherent in the evolution of higher-order thinking skills.
