杜威职业教育思想的缘起、内涵与当代价值

【摘要】 约翰·杜威基于工业革命到来、机器生产逐渐取代手工劳动的背景,重申“职业”的价值意蕴、审视职业教育的独特作用、倡导普通课程与职业课程的融合、强调“主动作业”在职业培训中的作用。在我国建设教育强国、促进共同富裕的征程中,杜威职业教育思想对于我国职业教育价值定位、人才培养、社会服务具有重要启示意义。我国职业教育发展需凸显职业教育促进共同富裕的独特作用,提升技术技能人才的职业适应能力,联合多方力量共同推进职业启蒙教育。

【Abstract】 John Dewey reiterated the value of "occupation", reviewed the distinctive nature of vocational education, promoted the integration of general and vocational programs, and emphasized the role of "active work" in vocational training in light of the industrial revolution and the progressive replacement of manual labor by machine production. Regarding the value orientation, talent cultivating, and social service of vocational education in China, the concepts offered by Dewey are incredibly insightful in the process of building a strong educational country and promoting common prosperity. The particular function that vocational education plays in fostering common prosperity, the improvement of technical and skilled talents’ vocational adaptability, and the integration of diverse forces to promote vocational enlightenment education are all necessary for the continued development of vocational education in China.
