【Abstract】 The historical logic of Mao Zedong thought of encouraging investigation and research is that the Party has always emphasized and insisted on carrying out investigation and research during the period of China’s revolution and construction; the theoretical logic is the dialectical method of materialism and the epistemology of dialectical materialism; and the practical logic is the practice of Mao Zedong’s early investigations and research and the concrete practice of socialist construction. The value stance, fundamental requirements and basic principles, as well as the goal of party building, are the core essentials of Mao Zedong thought of encouraging investigation and research. Its contemporary value lies in forging a practical weapon for the comprehensive advancement of Chinese-style modernization; providing a practical reference for the promotion of the great project of Party construction in the new era; providing experience for the conduct of the Party-wide survey and research in the new era; and providing an ideological legacy to carry forward the Party’s fine tradition of seeking truth from facts and conducting investigations and research in the new era.更多还原
