【Abstract】 A correct understanding of the international environment is a major strategic issue that concerns the fundamentals, overall situation and long-term development of the CPC and the country, as well as the immediate interests of the people. China has always attached importance to the judgment of the external environment for development, not only trying to adapt to the changes in the external environment, but also actively shaping and improving the environment. The attempts have achieved good results and formed good experience. By systematically sorting out China’s understanding of the international environment since the reform and opening up, we can sum up the valuable experience of correctly understanding and adapting to the changes in the international environment: accurately judging the general trend of world development is the fundamental basis for correctly understanding the changes in the international environment; resolutely safeguarding national interests is the purpose and the goal of correctly understanding the changes in the international environment; addressing problems from a comprehensive, dialectical, and long-term perspective is the important method of correctly understanding the changes in the international environment; keeping the world in mind is the sentiment and attitude of correctly recognizing the changes in the international environment; and acting in accordance with the trend and taking the initiative is the strategy and the magic weapon for adapting to the changes in the international environment.更多还原
