【Abstract】 Su Shi was not only a celebrated litterateur but also a great thinker and,above all,a virtuous man with vibrant patriotic sentiment and lofty ideals.He put much emphasis on the great love and struggle for the state and the people,and he embraced his mission with an elevated personality to benefit the people and forged a legendary reputation with a fleeting life.From a cosmological perspective,Su inherited the Chinese tradition,dating to the Xia dynasty,of respecting ghosts and deities but keeping them distant,placing humans at the center of the relationship of Heaven,Earth,humans,and deities.In terms of human nature,Su supported an emotional orientation.He acknowledged that humans are born with desire and emotion and that the function of education is to control human emotions.He held that "the people can be loved but not neglected,honored but not deceived," advocating for the people-oriented principle in the relationship of ruler,subject,state,and nation.All of these can fully reveal Su Shi’s cosmological view,moral view,and social view.更多还原
