气候-生态突变:概念、方法及关键科学问题
Climate and Ecological Abrupt Change:Concepts, methods and key scientific questions
【摘要】 气候、生物多样性与人类之间存在相互依存性。生态系统在气候系统中发挥着积极作用,特别是通过其参与碳循环、水循环和其他生物地球化学循环的方式。如果对其进行可持续管理,则生态系统可以成为人类复原力的主要来源,并能够支持人类社会适应环境的迅速变化。为此,加强气候-生态突变研究,开展生态系统突然变化对气候变化的响应的监测、解释和预测,提升生态复原力,具有重要的理论和实践价值。本研究深入地分析了气候-生态突变领域的相关核心概念的内涵,讨论了不同时间尺度、空间尺度的研究方法,并结合科学技术和经济社会的发展需求,研判并提出了未来气候-生态突变领域的关键科学问题。
【Abstract】 Climate, biodiversity, and human beings are intricately interdependent. Ecosystems play a pivotal role in the climate system, particularly through their contributions to the carbon cycle, water cycle, and other biogeochemical cycles. When managed sustainably with robust ecosystem and biodiversity science, ecosystems can serve as significant sources of human resilience and facilitate societal adaptation to rapid environmental changes. Therefore, enhancing the study of climate and ecological abrupt change holds substantial theoretical and practical values. It is essential to monitor,interpret, and predict how sudden ecosystem shifts respond to climate change while improving ecological resilience. This study deeply analyzes the connotation of relevant core concepts in the field of climate and ecological abrupt change, discusses different research methods at different time scales and spatial scales, and puts forward key scientific questions in the field of climate and ecological abrupt change in the future in combination with the needs of science and technology and economic and social development.
