【Abstract】 Based on the connotation and requirements associated with the ideological and political construction of specialized courses, as well as the subject characteristics of organic chemistry, such as shouldering the responsibility of ecological civilization construction, containing profound knowledge of humanities and sciences, adopting diversified teaching reforms, this paper discusses the significant roles of the course in the cultivation of core values, implementation of fundamental tasks and the attainment of crucial objectives required by ideological and political construction.
