【Abstract】 Faced with the demand for versatile talents in the new situation, the talent cultivation mode of geography majors in normal universities has also shifted from a single type to a composite type. Meteorology and Climatology, as an important basic course for geographical science majors, has a broad employment market and social needs, and is an essential part of training versatile geographical talents. The teaching reform of Meteorology and Climatology based on the concept of training versatile talents mainly includes the following three aspects: optimizing teaching methods, optimizing theoretical teaching procedure and optimizing experimental teaching procedure.Through a multi-line approach, students can be trained to think in science.
