Study of Welding Workers’ Work Posture and Fatigue Based on Ergonomics
【Abstract】 Long term use of poor posture in welding operations can accelerate work fatigue and lead to work-related musculoskeletal disorders. In order to explore the impact mechanism of homework posture and fatigue, firstly, based on ergonomics, typical bad homework postures are improved. Secondly, taking frontline welders as experimental subjects, surface electromyography experiments were conducted to measure the surface electromyographic signals of the left and right erector spinae muscles of the welders, and to study the muscle fatigue characteristics during the operation process in two different postures. Finally, based on the experimental results, Jack was used to simulate and verify the homework posture before and after improvement. The results showed that the improvement in homework posture had a good effect, with a 33.28% decrease in iEMG, a 39.38% decrease in root mean square(RMS), and a 69.8% decrease in pressure at the L4/L5spine.
