【Abstract】 The dilemma in site museum design lies in the fact that architecture dominated by functionality struggles to bridge the temporal and spatial gap experienced by visitors during their tours. Visitors find it challenging to resonate with the archaeological sites and artifact displays. The convergence of literary narrative logic with the construction of site museums offers various points of alignment, including literary qualities, structural elements,and temporal and spatial dimensions. This provides a foundation and potential for the analogy between narrative studies and the construction of site museums.Starting from architectural narrative studies, this paper imbues site museums with history, culture and their essence through narrative thinking.
