【Abstract】 Basic separation science is an elective course for applied chemistry majors. In order to better achieve the teaching and educational goals of the course,the deep integration of ideological and political elements into the teaching was explored and the teaching concept of “all-round education” was implemented. Practice was done from aspects such as improving teachers’ abilities,designing teaching concepts,constructing teaching resources,and constructing feedback mechanisms. This can enable students to be rigorous,practical-minded and persevering and rich in patriotic enthusiasm and social responsibility.
