【摘要】 <正>Major depressive disorder(MDD) is a debilitating mental health condition that ranks second in the global burden of human diseases [1]. Despite extensive research, the etiology and pathogenesis of MDD remain poorly understood. Disturbance of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal(HPA) axis mediated by glucocorticoid receptor(GR) dysfunction has been recognized to be associated with the occurrence of MDD [2].
