【Abstract】 The future learning center reshapes the physical space of university libraries. According to the goals and needs of library space construction for future learning center, by introducing the theory of affordance, this paper constructs a design framework of library space based on the theory of affordances, exploring the approaches to construct and design library space from functional affordance, physical affordance, cognitive affordance and sensory affordance.Taking Lihu Central Library of Shenzhen University as an example, this paper summarizes key points of library space construction for future learning center: constructing multi-functional areas to meet the multiple learning needs; utilizing intelligent systems to empower intelligent services through technology; optimizing the appearance and visual guide to enhance the overall cognition of users; and creating a comfortable and environmentally friendly environment by applying multi-sensory features.更多还原
