Complex-rotation方法研究白矮星磁场中氢原子的光电离截面
Study of hydrogen photoionization cross sections in white dwarfs magnetic fields with the Complex-rotation method
【摘要】 利用Complex-rotation方法,结合混合的斯莱特-朗道扩展基集,在假设质子的质量无限大的条件下,计算了给定白矮星磁场范围氢原子的光电离截面。计算了新的三种束缚态向自由态跃迁的光电离截面,即2s0→0-、 2p0→(-1)-和3d0→0-跃迁的光电离截面,选定磁感应强度分别为0.01、0.05、0.10和0.50 a.u.。部分计算结果与参考文献中采用绝热基展开方法和通道耦合理论的计算结果进行了比较,在远离朗道阈值的能量区域显示出极好的一致性,说明本文的计算方法和技术路线的正确性和合理性。相关计算结果有助于解释具有强磁场的天体中复杂的正能谱现象,此方案可用于系统地计算光谱建模需要的数据。
【Abstract】 Assuming an infinite proton mass, the Complex-rotation method with the mixed Slater-Landau extended basis was used to calculate the photoionization cross sections for hydrogen atoms in the range of white dwarfs’ magnetic fields. The current calculations involve three bound-free transitions 2s0 →0-, 2p0→(-1)-and 3d0→ 0-with four magnetic field strength values 0.01, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.50 a.u., respectively. Some of the current results are compared with those from the adiabatic-basis-expansion method and the coupled-channel theory.Excellent agreement is shown in the energy region away from Landau thresholds which confirms the reliability of the current computational scheme for photoionization from hydrogenic excited states. The results can be useful to elucidate complicated positive-energy spectra in astronomical objects with strong magnetic fields, and the current scheme can be used to systematically produce data for spectra modeling needs.
