【Abstract】 The basic usage of the modal word “Ye(也)” at the end of sentence in Lishi dialect of Shanxi is to express both declarative mood and future tense, which is the direct inheritance of the modern Chinese modal “Ye(也)” to express the meaning of “the change of events”. In addition, “Ye(也)”can also serve as a supplement to express question and exclamation tones. According to the evolution of the dialect itself, there are new cases of combining with the imperative modal “zhe(着)”,the question modal “me(么)” and “ba(吧)”.更多还原
