【Abstract】 Arcade Hoange, a Chinese who immigrated to France in the late Ming dynasty, wrote two academic works about Mandarin Chinese in French manuscript: Grammaire chinoise and Essay de grammaire sur la langue chinoise. In these two works, there are systematic descriptions of the initials, finals and tones of Mandarin in the late Ming dynasty. This article includes the first Chinese translation of the phonological parts of Arcade Hoange’s French manuscript and analyzes the similarities and differences in the three descriptions as well as annotations.更多还原
