【Abstract】 Postcolonial feminism, also known as Third World feminism, has gained prominence since the 1980s. It critiques the postcolonial theory for often overlooking gender issues, challenges the western white feminism for perpetuating a form of “cultural imperialism,” and rejects the exploration of gender issues through universal or homogeneous frameworks. Besides, Postcolonial feminists are dedicated to addressing the problems Third World women face in the postcolonial period and revealing the unique complexities of their lived environments.更多还原
