【Abstract】 This paper mainly summarizes the progress of the preparation and application of paraffin-based waterproofing agent in recent years, firstly introduces the preparation method and application progress of paraffin emulsion, and then introduces the current research status of paraffin emulsion and other emulsions co-preparation of composite emulsions and their applications, which focuses on the application of paraffin/acrylate composite emulsions in the field of paper, wood waterproofing, waterproofing of construction materials,and finally looks forward to the paraffin composite emulsion.
