【Abstract】 How to develop distinctive and attractive engineering education for the comprehensive university that excels in general liberal arts and sciences and professional colleges? The 16-year history of the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences(SEAS) has responded to the question above. It has the multi-disciplines to provide an interdisciplinary platform for solving grand challenges and cultivating compound leaders for future. Meanwhile, design education is essential to the renaissance of engineering education, and the curriculum and the body of knowledge should be reshaped to cultivate design thinking.
