Aspen Plus在绿色化学工艺教学中的应用——环氧乙烷反应精馏合成乙二醇
Application of Aspen Plus in Teaching Green Chemical Technology: Production of Ethylene Glycol by Reactive Distillation
【摘要】 石油化工工艺学是介于理论和生产实践之间的一门“桥梁”课程,围绕课程中绿色化学工艺内容,在教学中引入“环氧乙烷反应精馏制取乙二醇”工程案例。引导学生利用Aspen Plus对环氧乙烷制取乙二醇的传统水合工艺和新型的反应精馏工艺进行模拟优化,并分析对比2种工艺的经济性和绿色性,通过教学,加深了学生对绿色化学工艺的理解,培养了学生工程实践能力和节能降耗意识。
【Abstract】 Petrochemical technology is a bridge course between theory and practice. The case of “the production of ethylene glycol by reactive distillation” was used in the teaching of green chemical technology. The chemical simulation software Aspen Plus was also introduced to simulate and optimize the direct hydration process and reactive distillation process. The energy consumption and environmental impact of the two processes were discussed according the simulation results. This teaching method can strengthen the understanding of petrochemical technology course of students. And it can improve the students’ project practical ability and energy-saving awareness.
