便携式气相色谱-质谱联用现场检测土壤中挥发性有机污染物

【摘要】 土壤中挥发性有机污染物(VOCs)的监测对生态环境、人体健康、农业生产以及土地使用至关重要。本研究基于固相微萃取结合便携式气相色谱-质谱联用技术(SPME-PGC-MS)建立了一种土壤中VOCs的现场分析方法,并将其用于土壤中的典型VOCs的测定,以考察和优化方法的稳定性、灵敏度和定量检测等分析性能。结果表明,方法的线性检测范围为5.0~100μg/L(R2>0.99),检出限(S/N=3)和定量限(S/N=10)分别为2.81~3.89μg/L和9.37~12.97μg/L,相对标准偏差为4.79%~7.53%。采用本方法现场测定了不同土壤中的VOCs,发现土壤中有多种与土地使用和作业相关的VOCs。本研究开发的SPME-PGC-MS技术能够快速测定土壤中的VOCs,为复杂环境条件下污染物的现场分析提供了新方法。

【Abstract】 Rapid detection of organic volatile compounds(VOCs) in soil is crucial for evaluating soil safety in different aspects including ecological environment, human health, and agricultural application. In this study, a portable analytical approach was developed for onsite detection of VOCs in soil by headspace solid phase microextraction coupled with portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPME-PGC-MS). Several typical VOCs including heptane, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and bromobenzene were used to investigate and optimize the choice of SPME fiber, and it was found that the polydimethylsiloxane/divinyl benzene(PDMS/DVB) SPME fiber had the best enrichment effect. Furthermore, well-acceptable analytical performances including stability,sensitivity and quantitative detection of SPME-PGC-MS were obtained for detecting five typical VOCs. The relative standard deviations of the method were 4.79%–7.53% for parallel measurements(n=6), the limits of detection(LODs) and limits of quantification(LOQs) were found to be 2.81–3.89μg/L and 9.37–12.97μg/L, respectively,and the linear ranges of five VOCs were 5.0–100μg/L with excellent correlation coefficient(R2>0.99).Furthermore, the presented SPME-PGC-MS method was successfully used for on-site detection of various VOCs from different real soil samples, showing that a variety of VOCs such as benzene, n-heptane, toluene, chlorobenzene and ethylbenzene were mainly generated from industrial pollution. The developed SPME-PGC-MS was a promising portable approach for onsite screening of VOCs in the soil in different applications.
